Today we drove to Letchworth Sate Park, one of our favorite places to stopover. We have been to Letchworh at least twice before and it still holds the same intrigue for us. The park is beautiful with spectacular overlooks and waterfalls that still inspire despite seeing them for the third time.

We stopped at a rest area along the interstate in Chautauqua, New York. What an incredible rest area. The visitor’s center was beautiful and the grounds spectacular over looking a lake. Jewel enjoyed running in the grass and we enjoyed the views and all the beautiful landscape and flowers.

Lunch along road.

We opted to eat dinner at the Glenn Iris Inn overlooking a huge waterfall. We have eaten there before and were impressed with the food and view. It was a little bit of a disappointment this time because the food wasn’t as good but OK anyway.

It is getting darker earlier and earlier so sightseeing in the park was limited. Back at the CG Ron is planning our next stop before getting home. He is having a hard time giving up life on the road and is trying to extend the 400 or so miles we have to drive for as long as possible.
